pdf includes how-to pictures.
Step 1
Place the stud on top of the Insert tube for rod holder into the Siderigger
base plate center hole and align the three holes with the half-moon
cut-out (see picture 2). Place a large washer on the stud. Place
a large washer on the stud. Place a lock nut over washer. Tighten
the lock nut down with a 13mm or 1⁄2” wrench, then
back off 1/8 to 1⁄4 turn. Make sure the Siderigger base plate
is tight but turns freely.
Step 2
Insert small washer on the T Bolt and place through half moon cut out;
tighten down. (This locks the Siderigger base plate to the insert tube
for the rod holder to prevent it from swiveling.) (See Picture 3)
Step 3
Insert the two studs on the telescoping pole into the Siderigger base
plate. The bottom stud goes into the center hole and the top stud goes
in the cut-out that is 220 degrees of a circle (see picture 4).
Step 4
Place a large washer on the stud that goes through center of the Siderigger
Base plate. Place a lock nut on the stud and tighten the nut down with
a 1⁄2 inch or a 13mm wrench. Then back off 1/8
turn. On the top stud insert the angle adjustment washer first, then
insert the spring, then place the T nut on the stud, and tighten the
T nut hand tight (see picture 5).
Step 5
Clip the bungee to the bottom eye on the telescoping pole. Extend the
pole, and clip and lock the pole in the full extension. Run a cord
through the bungee eye and the eye at the end of the pole. Tie
an out-rigger clip on to the cord (see picture 6).
Step 6
Go fishing!
